Ealing Fields High School won a historic third consecutive title, as the 2025 New York Jets NFL Girls Flag League presented by Nike concluded last week with an entertaining finals day under the sun in London.

In the third year of competition in the UK’s capital, a record 28 schools and 280+ girls took part in the league across six weeks of competition, with separate divisions in West, East and South London all battling it out.

The top 12 qualifying schools came together on Friday at Chiswick RFC, with a small round-robin pool format preceding the semi-finals and final. Ealing Fields and Turing House went unbeaten to set up the grand final, with the two-time winners proving their quality by coming out on top 34-0.

The overall quality of play was extremely high throughout the day, despite a number of teams and participants only picking up the sport for the very first time this year.

Alongside the 2025 trophy and medals, the Ealing Fields team earned invites to the New York Jets game in London later this year, and will now have a chance to represent the United Kingdom in the Continental NFL Flag Series later this year too.

The Jets reaffirmed their commitment to growing participation in NFL Flag this year, expanding the league in London and adding a new league in Ireland – the first of its kind – to ensure that more girls are taking up the sport than ever before. As Flag Football prepares for its debut at the 2028 Olympic Games, the profile continues to grow both domestically in the United States and internationally in new markets.

Keep your eyes peeled on our website later this year as plans will be set in motion for 2026 to be even bigger and better for Jets Flag Football in the UK and Ireland!
