The New York Jets finish their 2025 preseason on Friday night, as they welcome to reigning Super Bowl Champion Philadelphia Eagles to MetLife Stadium.

It is their final of three preseason games, as the team completes their preperation ahead of the season opener on September 7th against the Pittsburgh Steelers.

After the Jets toppled the Green Bay Packers 30-10 at Lambeau Field in preseason week one, they were defeated 31-12 in the New York derby last week as the Giants took bragging rights in the annual preseason fixture.

A number of starters played a couple of drives worth of football, ramping up their participation in the build up to week one. Coach Glenn has already indicated that many starters will be rested this week, and that the team will try to get a close look at some of the younger guys on the roster, who could earn extended playing time on Friday.

The Eagles are 1-1 in the preseason, with victory over the Cincinnati Bengals week one, and a defeat to the Cleveland Browns last week. Their starters have largely stayed out of their preseason contests so far, as they ramp up to try to repeat a Super Bowl run.
